We're just about halfway through the year - where did time go?! As the world returns to "normalcy" and summer breezes by, it feels like now is a perfect time for a reset.
, I don't mean getting a good night 's sleep or taking a longer shower in the morning, I'm talking about using some PTO, taking a social media break, setting new boundaries, and spending time outdoors. (Yes, those are all on my to-do list 😅)
Why reset? Most people wait until January for a fresh start but there's value in starting over any time throughout the year. Not only will you avoid turning into this girl, a reset may help you get out of a rut, explore new opportunities, feel creative,
and/or avoid burnout. The possibilities are endless but you have to give yourself permission to do it.
If you need ideas on how to reset, here are a few ways to get started:
- Deep clean and rearrange your living space
- Commit to a 2-week meditation and/or yoga practice
- Plan and take an extended weekend getaway (solo or with loved ones)
- Create and follow a new sleep routine - add some ambient sounds and a sleep mask if you need.
Where could you use a reset? Spend some time this week mapping out a plan. If you need help, here's a few helpful links to get started:
P.S. Reminder our next group run is this Saturday at 9AM. Meet at Dilworth Park for a 3-mile fun run to Spruce Street Harbor Park / Penn's Landing.
