Although the media frenzy around COVID has slowed down, we are still living through collective uncertainty, fear, and grief. Add the stress of a presidential election and non-stop political texts, it feels like this year will never end.
Takia wrote a powerful post on her Instagram for anyone struggling to 'keep it together' during the pandemic. She acknowledged her own challenges and gave others permission to do the same. These are the reality checks we need to see more often. When I read the post, I took a step back and honestly examined how I was
moving day to day. I had to acknowledge that I was doing too much this month and it was taking a toll on my mental and physical health.
It happens, , and as cliche as it sounds, you just have to do the best that you can.
